Under legal review — draft, not yet binding
LegalRefund Policy
imin is the ticketing platform; the event organizer is the seller. Refunds are decided and issued by the organizer, and imin provides the tools to request and process them.
01 · Unused tickets
A ticket can be refunded while it is unused — that is, not already refunded and not yet scanned at the door. That is the only eligibility rule; there is no add-on to buy and nothing to opt into at checkout.
02 · Scanned tickets
Once a ticket has been scanned at the door it is final and cannot be refunded through this flow. If something went wrong on the night, the organizer may still be able to help — reach them from the event page.
03 · How to request
- Go to the refund request page and enter the email you used at checkout.
- We email you a one-time link — it expires 60 minutes later — to a short form where you tell the organizer why you’d like a refund.
- The organizer reviews your request and decides in line with their refund terms for the event. You get their decision by email.
04 · How approved refunds are paid
When a refund is approved it is returned to your original payment method through Stripe. Banks typically take 5–10 business days to show it on a statement.
05 · The booking fee
Whether the imin booking fee (5% + €0.99 per ticket) is returned as part of a refund depends on the circumstances and the organizer’s policy. The rule is not settled yet, so this page does not state one — the amount shown on your refund form is an estimate, and the organizer confirms the final figure. If you think the fee should have come back and it did not, email contact@imin.support and we will look at your specific order.
06 · If an event is cancelled or changed
If an organizer cancels an event, they are responsible for refunding purchases. Your tickets stay unused, so they stay eligible — you can also start a request yourself from the refund request flow. Use the same flow if an event is postponed or materially changed.
07 · Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits the consumer-protection rights you have under applicable EU and French law. A ticket is for an event on a set date, so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply — the Right of withdrawal section of our terms of service explains why.
The full policy, including organizer-specific cancellation terms, is being finalized with our legal counsel.
