Under legal review — draft, not yet binding
LegalTerms of Service
imin is an online ticketing platform for live events, operated from France for event organizers across the European Union. These terms cover using imin.wtf to discover events and buy tickets.
01 · Who we are
imin (“imin”, “we”, “us”) runs the ticketing platform at imin.wtf. Our full legal entity name, registration number and registered address are being finalized and will be published here once confirmed. Until then you can reach us any time at contact@imin.support.
02 · Our role
imin is an intermediary. The event organizer is the seller of the ticket and is responsible for the event itself — the line-up, the venue, admission, timings, and the experience on the day. When you buy a ticket, your contract for attending the event is with the organizer. imin provides the technology that lets organizers list events and sell tickets, and handles checkout, payment processing, and ticket delivery on their behalf.
03 · Tickets & purchases
- You choose your tickets on an event page and pay at checkout. The price and any per-event restrictions (for example age limits) are set by the organizer and shown on the event page.
- A ticket is valid for one entry per QR code. After payment you receive your tickets by email — bring them on your phone and they are scanned at the door.
- Guest purchases are bound to the email entered at checkout. Lost the email? Have your tickets re-sent from the recovery page.
04 · Booking fee
imin charges a booking fee on ticket purchases: 5% of the ticket subtotal plus €0.99 per ticket. The fee is shown before you pay and is already included in the total you confirm at checkout — the amount you see is the amount you are charged. Free tickets may still carry the per-ticket fee.
05 · Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. imin does not store your full card details. The total displayed at checkout is exactly what Stripe charges you.
06 · Refunds & cancellations
Refunds are handled through the organizer, who is the seller. You can start a request from our refund request page while a ticket is unused; a ticket scanned at the door is final. The full details are in our refund policy. If an organizer cancels an event, they are responsible for refunding purchases.
07 · Right of withdrawal
A ticket you buy here is for a leisure service taking place on a specific date. For that kind of contract the 14-day right of withdrawal that normally applies to distance sales does not apply — Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 16(l), transposed in France at Code de la consommation Art. L221-28, 12°. So there is no cooling-off period on a ticket purchase, and we tell you that before you pay rather than after.
This is separate from refunds. The organizer decides refunds under our refund policy, and if an event is cancelled they are responsible for refunding purchases — none of that depends on a withdrawal right.
08 · Acceptable use
Please use imin honestly: don’t attempt to defraud organizers or other buyers, resell tickets in breach of an organizer’s rules, or interfere with the platform’s operation. Organizers may refuse admission where a ticket is invalid, duplicated, or was obtained fraudulently.
09 · Image rights & takedown
Posters, photos, artist names and event copy on this site are supplied or selected by the event organizer. That includes artwork generated with imin’s own poster tools, which an organizer chooses and publishes to their event.
For material an organizer uploads, the organizer is responsible for holding the rights to it and for having the consent of anyone shown in it.
Where artwork came from our own poster tools instead, who answers for the rights in it is one of the questions still open in the Liability section below.
If you believe something published here infringes your copyright or trade mark, or uses your image without your permission, email contact@imin.support. Tell us the link to the event, which material you mean, what right you hold, and how to reach you. We can remove or unpublish material while we look into a notice.
10 · Liability
The provisions on liability caps and warranties are being finalized with our legal counsel, and so is the question that decides who answers for the content on an event page: whether imin acts as a host for organizer-supplied material under LCEN Art. 6-I and DSA Art. 16, and, separately, who carries the rights and likeness risk in artwork our own poster tools generated. Until that is settled this page states no limit of liability. If you have a question about these terms in the meantime, contact us at contact@imin.support.
11 · Governing law, disputes & mediation
Where we direct our activities to the country you habitually live in, the law these terms end up choosing cannot take away the protection of that country’s mandatory consumer rules — Rome I (Regulation 593/2008) Art. 6.
If you live in an EU member state, you may bring a claim against us either in the courts where you live or in the courts where we are established, and we may bring one against you only where you live — Brussels I bis (Regulation 1215/2012), Arts. 17–19.
Under Code de la consommation Art. L612-1 you have the right to free recourse to a consumer mediator. Art. L612-2 asks you to put a written complaint to us first, so the route is: email contact@imin.support, and if that does not settle it, mediation.
We have not yet appointed a consumer mediator. When we have, their name, postal address and website will be published here and in these terms, as Art. R616-1 requires.
The express choice-of-law clause and the clause naming a court both depend on the legal entity in the Who we are section above, which is not settled yet. Neither is stated here until it is.
12 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves and as the final legal review completes. The current version, with its last-updated date, always lives on this page.
